After a while I resolved by rotating the pen in my hand so the clip pointed another way, and then I didn't press the button. I find erase and select the most useful so stuck with the default, but the position of the erase button means you can inadvertently erase when you're trying to draw. The only thing that took some getting used to was the position of the buttons on the side of the pen: They're set up for erase and select, but you can change to a list of other options if you prefer.
Next to the active power plan, click the link Change Plan Settings. The battery warning levels are set for a specific plan. I've had the pen for several months now in daily use - it paired instantly without me needing to do anything, the battery is still going strong, and there's a dinky USB holder to keep it to hand. Press the Win+X keyboard shortcut and choose the Control Panel item from the super secret menu.
I used to keep notebooks for doodling, sketches and designing (I'm an engineer and designer, and probably missed a vocation as an architect), but with this it's so easy - the line weight even varies with pen pressure, and with palm reject as standard, I can rest on the screen to draw/write so it's like writing on paper rather than on a whiteboard. Bought this for my Lenovo flex 5, and with the new Windows Ink and Whiteboard it is revolutionary.
